So I wanna ask someone to Winter Formal. I honestly don’t know how to go about it. This person and I, we’re cool, but we barely ever really talk, so I don’t know if they’re already taking someone. What should I do?

Hoy! Anak! It may be a good idea to straight-up ask your friend up front. Although you two may not talk to each other as much as you’d like, it probably would not be a bad idea to ask, seeing as you say that you two are pretty cool with each other. However, if you feel this is too direct, try to make casual conversation and lead into the topic in a friendly manner. In any way, you’ll need to ask at some point to find out. If you don’t find out, you won’t be able to know if you can take him/her to Winter Formal! Just be confident!
